Process of Assessment

Step 1 – Parent/Carer completes the intake form.

Step 2 - Discuss the reason for the assessment via a phone call.

Step 3 – Meet and complete parent interview, including background and developmental information. For example their birth,when they first talked and walked.

Step 4 – Complete assessments with the child or young person.

Step 5 – Psychologist writes the report.

Step 6 – Meeting with parent/carer to discuss the report and results.

Process for assessment of Autism

Step 1 – Parent/Carer completes the intake form.

Step 2 - Discuss the reason for the assessment via a phone call. Parent/Carer and Teacher complete the ASRS questionnaire.

Step 3 – Meet and complete parent interview (ADI-R) and Vineland-3, including background information. For example their birth,when they first talked and walked.

Step 4 – Complete ADOS-2 assessment with the child or young person.

Step 5 – Psychologist writes the report.

Step 6 – Meeting with parent/carer to discuss the report and results.
